If you are in any doubt about how to measure your windows, you can call us to arrange a time when we can take the measurement for you. We will not take responsibility for poorly fitting products if you provide your own measurements.
Inside mounted blinds
Use this measuring guide if you are going to be fitting blinds inside the recess of the window.
- Using a steel tape measure record the width and height of the recess.
- Measure the width and height in three places and record the shortest length.
- Round measurements to the nearest millimetre.
Outside mounted blinds
Use this measuring guide if you are going to be fitting blinds outside the recess of the window.
- Using a steel tape measure record the outside width and height.
- You need to include a minimum overlap on both sides, top and bottom of 45mm
- You only need to take one set of measurements.
- Round measurements to the nearest millimetre.
